About The Event
Get ready to grill over the fire with this awesome Collapsible Grate! This is a fun, easy project for a beginning welder that wants to try to make something useful.
Participants will be presented with precut steel pieces. They will then learn to tack weld these pieces together to solidify their design. They will also learn how to prep their material ( before welding) with the belt sanders, and how to finish the project with an angle grinder. We encourage participants to help each other during this process!
This event should be fun and easy for beginner welders and anyone who has ever wanted to try welding. Participants will be using the MIG welders to create the tack welds and some short line welds. All equipment and supplies are provided.
