  • Do I have to be strong to blacksmith/weld/etc.?
No. People of all fitness and ability levels are welcome and we will always do what we can to accommodate anyone who needs assistance of any kind.
  • How old do I have to be?
Each class and event has its own age requirements in the description, but-- generally speaking-- we welcome ages 14 and up. Ages 9-13 can participate in some classes with a parent or guardian in attendance (contact for details). Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature.
  • What should I wear/bring with me?
Wear all natural fabrics (cotton, linen, silk, canvas, denim, leather, etc.). Synthetic fabrics can melt to the skin and should be avoided. Closed toed shoes are required at all times in the shop. Canvas or leather shoes are recommended but not required. Long hair should be tied back and dangling jewelry/accessories should be removed. Hardy & Fuller provides water and some snacks for our guests, but you are welcome to bring your own. There is access to a water fountain, so you may also wish to bring your own water bottle.

  • How can I cancel or reschedule my class?
To cancel or reschedule a class, please sign up to become a member on the website. This is free and is an easy way for you to manage your classes. Once in the member portal, your purchased classes will be visible and you can either cancel or reschedule. If you decided to cancel a class, the amount you paid for that class will be transferred as a credit on your account, to put towards any other classes you might want to take. If you would like a refund and have cancelled before 24 hours of the class, please contact us at and we will issue a refund to you. REMINDER: There is a 24 hour cancellation policy that will not allow you to reschedule if inside of those 24 hours. There is no refund if cancelled within 24 hours.
