International Women's Day: Blacksmithing

Hey Ladies, Femmes, Trans Feminine, and Non Binary persons!! Lets have a party where we play with fire and pursue our badassery!

This class is great for beginners hoping to learn blacksmith techniques such as squaring, tapering, scrolling, twisting and much more. In this 4 hour class, you will choose a project from our menu and learn the techniques needed to make your own unique blacksmith piece. Projects types include (but are not limited to): wands, hooks, garden ornament, camping tools, candle holders, and SO MUCH MORE! Attending this class will qualify you to use Open Studio Hours in the blacksmith area ONLY. Please see our Open Studio page for more information.

No pre-requisites required!

All PPE and safety equipment provided. If you have safety equipment of your own that you prefer to wear, please feel free to bring it with you. Safety code strictly enforced for your safety and the safety of others (SEE BELOW).

SAFETY CODE: 

          - All natural fabrics (cotton, linen, silk, canvas, denim, leather, etc.) should be worn for all top layers. Synthetic fabrics are more likely to melt to your skin, and should therefore be avoided.

          - Close toed shoes are required at all times whilst in the shop. Canvas or leather shoes are recommended but not required.

          -  While operating any oscillating power tools, long hair and dangling accessories should be tied back or removed. 

          - Hardy & Fuller provides water and snacks, but it is highly recommended that you bring a refillable water bottle and any snacks you may need for your particular dietary needs. 

This class is available for all differently abled persons. We have wheelchair access throughout the shop. Please contact Ashe if you have any needs you are concerned about. Ages 14+ welcome.

For a full refund, reserved spots must be cancelled 24 hours BEFORE the class time. Hardy & Fuller is not responsible for scheduling mistakes made during purchase.
